New waistcoat coming tomorrow…

After my sheer delight at how smooth and soft the leather is on my Higgs Leather trousers, I’ve decided to order a matching waistcoat. My blazer isn’t too dissimilar so I’m not bothering with that, but it will be really delightful to have a new leather suit which not only fits me, but is as soft and comfortable to wear as any fabric one.

This is the softest waistcoat I own. Sadly it’s missing a button. It’s still not as good as the trousers though.

So much cooler today!

At last this heatwave has broken. It developed into an intense burning heat yesterday afternoon which in turn became heavy thunderstorms.

From a rather horrible 30°C on Thursday we ended Friday with a very pleasant 18°C.

Today I actually felt like wearing leather, and sure enough I did.

I did try latex, which felt great after so long not wearing it, but it was still a little too warm to remain in it.

If you’re a latex wearer, what do you mix in with it?

Exploring colour

First came the rather lush red latex jeans; a purchase I never thought I’d make, ever, in my life!

Then a couple of weeks ago I bought a pair of putty coloured jeans… which look rather dashing with a green shirt and waistcoat.

Now… My latest reveal is…

Purple!!!

It seems I’m getting more colorful as I crest the middle of the 4th decade of my life.

Next? Why… orange!

New Jeans

As my weight loss continues I’m finding myself looking at more figure hugging clothing, in particular slimmer fit.

At one time I would have seen slim fit light coloured clothes and shuddered.

Now I own some! Matched with a purple shirt and my Burgundy pattern waistcoat they look rather stunning! Perfect for Ethryll stage wear, but also good for general summer wear.

The clincher though? Cotton Traders, £18!

At one time I went down the route of 501’s only at £80+ a pair because I thought the brand made me look good. It’s not that way round though, it’s all about you making the clothes look good no matter what the brand.
